NOTICE OF PUBLIC DISCLOSURE
Assessors: CITY OF HOLYOKE
FISCAL 2025 REVALUATION OF REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF HOLYOKE

In compliance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section 56, the Board of Assessors have completed a revaluation of all real and personal property in the City of Holyoke

PRELIMINARY CERTIFICATION FROM THE MASSACHUSETTS DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE FOR ALL
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF HOLYOKE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025 IS PENDING.

Analysis of real estate transactions from January 2022 through December 2023, as well as regional data, were reviewed during the revaluation. The values were adjusted to reflect full and fair cash value as of January 1, 2024. Overall, compared to Fiscal Year 2024, real estate and personal property values have increased 16.00%. Note the actual percentage change on individual tax bills will differ as the tax rate has not yet been set.
The preliminary values will be available for public viewing beginning Wednesday, October 23, 2024 for five (5) business days ending Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Public Disclosure is available for public review by going to the City of Holyoke website: Holyoke.org, and clicking on the link provided showing “FY25 Assessed Values”.

A list of the assessed values will also be available at the Assessor’s Office at the City Hall, and the Assessors will be available Wednesday, October 23, 2024, Tuesday, October 29, 2024 and, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If taxpayers or the general public have any questions or comments, the Assessors can also be contacted in the following ways: email assessors@holyoke.org
