Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity offers homeownership opportunities (usually new construction) and education.  Habitat recently sold 113 and 177 Jackson Streets to first time homeowner families.

OneHolyoke CDC is a Holyoke based community development corporation that has a long history of providing home ownership opportunities and is currently rehabbing 278 Pine Street (a former house on the Yankee Pedlar property) for a homeownership opportunity.

The Holyoke Housing Authority also offers eligible first time home buyer financial assistance up to $4999. Recipients of first time home buyer funds must meet HHA, HUD, and OCD eligibility criteria and complete a first time home buyer education class.
