***Water quality notification*** October 29, 2025
Residents may notice a slight change in the taste, temperature, and odor of their drinking water over the next several weeks due to a scheduled change in source water. The Holyoke Water Works is currently using its McLean Reservoir for its primary drinking water to do scheduled maintenance on the transmission main from its primary source. All water quality standards remain the same, but changing to a different source changes the overall aesthetics of your drinking water. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the treatment facility at 413-532-6778.
