  • TIP Projects Update
    1. High & Maple
      1. 25% Design Submitted
      2. Design Public Hearing scheduled for 6/21/21
  • 75% Design submittal 8/20/21

  1. Need to update Conservation Commission with treatment locations.
  2. Mass DAR Public Review concluded Friday with no public comments received.
  3. Preparing bidding documents.

 

(7)  Personnel Issues – Workers Comp Update

  1. Daigle returning to light duty work as the Yard Waste attendant
  2. Uribe (Refuse) still on WC
  3. Galarza (Recycling) still on WC
  4. Kilpatrick (Recycling) still on WC
  5. Melendez (Highway) still on WC
  6. J Benvenutti came to a settlement agreement with the City
  7. 2 open HMEO positions in Highway
  8. 2 open Parking Enforcement Officer positions

Curbing and sidewalk improvements in the next month

Significant underrun in the MassWorks grant which can be used for additional sidewalk and paving work in the South Holyoke area

Underrun is due to competitive bid and generous estimated contingency
