WINTER PARKING BAN The city of Holyoke, Department of Public Works, has issued two Winter Parking Bans as follows: Winter Parking Ban - Starting February 6th at 7:00 a.m. No parking on the ODD side of the street, unless otherwise posted, and no parking on CUL-DE-SACS. This will continue through Friday, February 7th at 6:00 a.m. Reverse Parking - Starting February 7th at 8:00 a.m. No parking on the EVEN side of the street, unless otherwise posted, and no parking on CUL-DE-SACS. This will continue through Friday, February 7th at 7:00 p.m.

El Departmento de Obras Públicas de la Ciudad de Holyoke ha emitido dos prohibiciones de estacionamiento en invierno, de la siguiente manera Prohibición de estacionamiento en invierno: a partis del 6 febrero a las 7:00 a.m. No se permite estacionar en el lado ODD de la calle, a menos que se indique lo contrario, ni en las calles sin salida. Volunteer or Donate for Covid-19 Relief

Donate Funds

There are many ways to donate at this time. Check with your local organizations for specific needs that you can support or donate to the Covid-19 Response Fund for Western Mass being coordinated by the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts the Massachusetts Covid-19 Relief Fund organized by the Office of the Governor.

Donate PPE

PPE Donations can be delivered to the main entrance of Holyoke Medical Center, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. If you call 413.534.2500 when you arrive, a team member will go out to your car to collect the donation from you. Learn more

If you would like to donate homemade masks or other PPE to essential City workers – including Fire Dept, Police, Board of Health, Building Dept, School Dept, and those other employees who continue to deliver work in public places you can sign-up and provide your information here.

There is a Massachusetts state-wide portal for those interested in donating PPE to the emergency supply which is distributed to hospitals, field hospitals, shelters, testing facilities, and other frontline efforts.

Volunteer

If you are a health care worker looking to volunteer your services, Massachusetts has developed a portal to link volunteers with emergency Covid-19 health care sites.

Locally, Meals on Wheels is in constant need of drivers to deliver meals to those who cannot leave their homes at this time.

Western Mass Mutual Aid will link your abilities as a volunteer directly with individuals and families who have a variety of emergency needs including food delivery, errands, housing, gardening, emotional support, translation services and more.
