"Carlos has the very unenviable task of enforcing parking in our downtown area, but you can usually see him doing it with a smile. He is level headed and quick to assist when and where he can and able to explain the reason for writing tickets and assisting people in filling out appeal forms. He checks in with my office daily to see if there are any issues or if there is anything we need him to do. He is generally pulled in several directions including but not limited to mowing lawns, cleaning up disgusting stairwells littered with used needles, trash and other gross things, plowing etc. He still manages to keep a great attitude and a sense of humor while bringing in a significant amount of revenue for the city. He is one of our unsung heroes and he certainly deserves some recognition for usually going above and beyond what his job title entails."

Yoni is a grant-writing machine, being awarded over $4.5 million during his five years (so far) with the city. Everyone he meets, he makes feel welcomed and included and every member of the Conservation Commission speaks so highly of him and his work. He's never afraid to get his hands dirty with weekend cleanups, trail inspections, spreading seeds for native plant growth, tree planting and more. We are so fortunate to have someone of Yoni's caliber working for our great city!"
