The Holyoke Parks and Recreation department is sponsoring  the John Murphy Baseball League. Former Holyoke Community College coach, Terry Murphy, will again be coordinating the program, which is designed to create balanced competitive teams, and to provide excellent coaching for both team and individual development.  

9-11 YEARS OLD, 12-14 YEARS OLD  & 14-17 YEARS OLD (see age details below)

$30/Holyoke resident or $35/non-resident

At least 10 games played from July – early August

Games are played on 75’ baseball diamonds in Holyoke

**NEW 14 1/2 – 17 1/2 YEAR OLD DIVISION with games played on 90’ Diamond**

Younger age group for players (ages 9 – 11 1/2) born between January 1, 2004 and July 1, 2006

Older age group for players (ages 11 1/2 – 14 1/2) born between January 1, 2001 and December 31, 2003

Oldest age group for players (ages 14 1/2 – 17 1/2) born between January 1, 1998 and December 31, 2000

Coach Murphy and his staff, many former college and high school players, will be conducting tryouts in late June and early July to set the rosters to make the teams more equally competitive.
