HG&E New Website Has Customer Focus Text Size

Holyoke Gas & Electric (HG&E) recently launched a new website,, which includes many new features that will help customers easily access information, pay bills, and much more!

The new site welcomes visitors with a bold color scheme, crisp new imagery, and new content that describe all that HG&E has to offer.  The site allows for intuitive movement by providing five sections of primary navigation, as well as features such as: emergency alerts, bill payment options, reporting features, news, construction updates, audience-based site maps, and translation options.

As customers dig deeper into the site, they can find new forms, calculators, bill samples, and map integration.  “We designed the site with a constant focus on our customer,” says Kate Sullivan, HG&E’s Marketing Coordinator.  “For the first time, customers can pay bills from a tablet or mobile device because of the creative and responsive design techniques we implemented.  We are thrilled with the initial feedback.”

In a 2012 customer survey, HG&E discovered customers are using the internet as the primary source for information regarding their utility, and that number grows each year.  Additionally, since launching online bill payment, HG&E has seen approximately 20% of customers going online to pay bills and gather information about their bill history.

Please take a moment to review the new site,
