City of Holyoke Announces Change in Email Domain Text Size

The City of Holyoke announced a change in the email domain for City of Holyoke employees, effective immediately. The change in domain applies to any municipal employees whose email address formerly ended in  The first part of the e-mail address (lastname_firstinitial) will stay the same, but the domain has now changed to a more user friendly domain of


The change was implemented several months ago to allow enough time for a smooth transition for the public and employees, and as of Friday, January 24, was phased out, and any emails sent to the old domain will no longer be accepted.  Those who are experiencing technical difficulties are advised to note the new address and try to resend emails that may not have been successfully sent.


In addition to the domain change, the Mayor’s Office has led other initiatives that will enhance communication and accessibility for residents, including the creation of a new municipal website that provides key online services, the launch of the City’s first mobile application through Commonwealth Connect’s SeeClickFix and encouraging residents to sign up to receive notifications from the City using the Everbridge notification system.
