Minutes for Meeting October 10th 2023 Present Rick Purcell Lady Rua Ken Harstine Donny Andrejczyk Nothing from Andrew regarding charter changes. Propose having substitutes so that we can more easily meet quorum. Notify candidates that they are still under consideration. Old Business Kennedy Park report. Considering changes to monument at the park. Find out what the family wants. Get the monument cleaned to remove paint etc.. Elevator still not working. New Business Communicate with new Veterans representative. Communicate with the Aux, Police to talk about their needs. Remove key box from Veterans office. Soldiers Memorial Commission should control keys and all aspects of the building. Veterans Office should relay building questions to us primarily. Perhaps we should have office ours. Add 413-885-0955 contact for Laddy on our web page. Add building usage form to web site. DAV will use room 303. Add information general information to outside of the commissioners office. Get list of PO Box users in the War Memorial. Veterans Day Planning by Patriotic Committee Meeting October 20h, Friday. Time 12-1pm. Location TBD. Zoom available. Laddy will send information to Soldiers Memorial Commission. Wayne Klinger is contact. Water coming into west wall in the basement. Modifications may be necessary to drainage system.
