Item 1: PUBLIC HEARING 8-3-21 MURPHY – Updating to the Holyoke ordinances of Uses – Defining restaurant adding to SEC 2 Under Appendix A
Restaurant – a business establishment where meals or refreshments may be purchased
Restaurant Sit down: A building, or portion thereof, containing tables and/or booths for at least two-thirds of its legal capacity, which is designed, intended and used for the indoor sales and consumption of food prepared on the premises, except that food may be consumed outdoors in landscaped terraces, designed for dining purposes, which are adjuncts to the main indoor restaurant facility. The term “restaurant sit down” shall not include “fast food establishments” but may also include “drive in – or take out” and food delivery services.
Restaurant, drive-in or take-out: Premises and building for the sale, dispensing, or serving of food, refreshments, or beverages. for Consumption in vehicles temporarily parked on the premises, or at tables, benches, counters and the like the majority of which are out-of-doors; or for consumption off the premises, may also offer drive-in or take-out and food delivery services.

Item 2: PUBLIC HEARING 6-15-21 LISI – that section 4.6.3.2 be amended to allow for increased fence heights by special permit.

Item 3: PUBLIC HEARING 6-15-21 LISI – that the marijuana ordinance be amended to correct 1) the site plan review process in section 7.10.6.5 (b) and 2) the reference to the Table 4.3 of Principal Uses in 7.10.5.3 (a)

Item 4: PUBLIC HEARING 8-3-21 LISI – Review and amend section 6.4 of the zoning ordinance to be in compliance with Consent Judgment and Permanent Injunction ordered by Honorable Mark G. Mastroiani dated April 12, 2019 and any other updates to streamline the ordinance

Item 5: 6-1-21 – Zone Change application from RO to DR for Gordon Alexander at 472, 474, 476 Appleton St (076-02-001) and (076-02-003) to expand allowed use to personal services as allowed in adjacent DR zone.

Item 6: 5-18-21 LEBRON-MARTINEZ – Ordered, that That city council thru the appropriate committee consider a drop & pick up for 2 parking spots for the van that will pick & drop off the participants that attend the Vcare Adult at the addresses 200-210 High Street This program serve a population of 60 and older and is necessary to assure their safety. Enclosed letter of company request.

Item 7: 8-3-21 MCGEE — Order that the no parking sign in front of 982 Hampden street be removed.

Item 8: 6-15-21 MURPHY — Ordered that no parking be allowed on Beaulieu St from the northeast intersection with Stebbins Street to a point 40 feet northerly.

Item 9: 8-3-21 BARTLEY, HERNANDEZ — The “no parking” sign proximate to 282 Cabot St be moved north and relocated as close to the street corner near Locust St. as possible. Purpose:  this would provide room for additional parking near the two care facilities in this neighborhood.
