MINUTES

 

Pursuant to Chapter 20, Section 20 of the Acts of 2021, the regular Meeting of the Holyoke Retirement Board was called to order by Acting Chairwoman Cheryl Dugre at 9:03 A.M.  Present were Michele Aubrey, Tanya Wdowiak and Todd McGee. Absent from meeting John McCarthy. Also present were Executive Director Anthony Dulude, Attorney Thomas Gibson (via zoom) and Kevin Jourdain City Councilor.

 

  1. Minutes of Board meeting held on December 21, 2022

 

On separate motions made by Todd McGee, seconded by Ms. Aubrey, it was voted unanimously (4-0) to accept Item I “Minutes,” Item II “Bank Reconciliation,” Item III “Statement of Financial Activities,” Item IV “Retirement Applications,” and Item V “Expenses.”

No reconciliations have been received after July 31,2022.

No votes taken.

Thomas Gibson- Board Attorney joined via zoom at 9:55- talked about getting rid of CRAB Board

for disabilities (delayed justice). Cola definition for vote by June 2023. Veterans Buy Back Bill, 180                                  days (Velis). Board voted to go into executive session at 10:23am for purpose of Catherine M.

Collamore.

 

Board came out of Executive session at 10:24am 4-0 vote to extend the application until all

medical records and facts for the case have been scrutinized.

 

  1. Thomas Gibson- Board Attorney joined via zoom at 9:55- talked about getting rid of CRAB Board

  1. Council member Kevin Jourdain- spoke at 9:20am for roughly 10 minutes urging the Board to

consider moving the meetings to night time in accordance with city ordinance. Letter was accepted

by Attorney Thomas Gibson from 2016 letting retirement boards to select their voted upon time for

meetings.

 

The next meeting of the Holyoke Retirement Board will be held on Wednesday February 22, 2023 @ 9am

 

There being no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Todd McGee, seconded by Ms. Dugre, passing unanimously (4-0).
