Hello Holyoke Community, please be advised that the Department of Public Works has issued a Winter Parking Ban to begin on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 starting at 7:00 am. There will be no parking on the ODD side of the street unless otherwise posted and No Parking on Cul-de-sacs. This parking ban will be in effect until otherwise notified.

Holyoke to Hold Forums to Hear From Residents on Superintendent Search

Holyoke residents asked: “What qualities are important in a superintendent?”

HOLYOKE — The Holyoke Community Advisory Team and School Committee want to know what qualities and skills are important in a Holyoke superintendent. Community members are invited to share their thoughts during two in-person forums and one virtual forum via Zoom.

The two in-person forums are scheduled for Monday, May 19, with food, childcare, and interpretation services provided:

  • From 4:30-6 p.m. at Kelly Elementary School, 216 West Street
  • From 6:30-8 p.m. at Holyoke High School North, 500 Beech Street
