The City of Holyoke invites any interested residents of Ward 3 to apply for interim appointment to the Ward 3 School Committee seat vacated by the recent resignation of Rebecca Birks.
The application deadline is July 22nd.
Candidates will be interviewed at an August 4th joint meeting of the Holyoke School Committee, City Council, and Mayor. The successful applicant will complete Rebecca Birks’ term, which expires December 31, 2023.
The November 2023 Municipal Elections will determine the permanent Ward 3 School Committee member. The term of that individual will start January 1, 2024.
