There will be a regular meeting of the Committee on

Public Service

 At City Hall in the Council Chamber, on August 28, 2014 at 6:30PM

1.Order from Soto, about Emergency Management Director, chief of police and health come before city council to discuss what city does when families are displaced due to fire, natural disaster etc

2.Order from Councilor Soto, request DA to conduct investigation into the payment of 45K to Heather Egan to ensure it was legal

3.Appointment of Libby Hernandez to Parks and Rec Commission

4.Appointment of Tim Purrington to Holyoke Housing Authority

5.Order from Councilor Jourdain, that Personnel office in conjunction with Councilor Lisi provide a civility program for City Council

6.Order from Councilor Alexander that a plan be presented by City Clerk to ensure publication on line as part of comprehensive municipal code of ordinance, any changes or revisions within 7 days of adoption by the council

7.Order from Councilor Alexander that meeting minutes for any body subject to Open meeting law include reference to any and all materials submitted for consideration during that meeting or hearing and copies kept on file in city clerks office for public inspection….

8.Order from Councilor Alexander that the Commission on Disabilities develop and maintain a spreadsheet showing the locations of all handicap parking spaces on public streets and spreadsheet be presented to City Council within 60 days

9. Order from Councilor Lisi city clerk review city policy for notification before violations are sent to court

10.Order from Councilor Lisi that the City clerk consider adopting a policy that allows dog owners to pay for license fees for several years in advance….
