Notice of Committee Meeting
There will be a regular meeting of the Committee on
Public Safety

At City Hall in the Council Chamber, on Thursday Feb. 15 at 6:30PM
Per order of the Chair: Dan Bresnahan

Item 1: 11/21/17: Order that Capt. Moriarty provide an updated list of safety options or procedures put in place to deal with the security/safety at City Hall, sub committee meetings and full council meetings.

Item 2: Leahy 10/17/17: Ordered that a emergency button be installed in the City Council chamber.


Item 3: Leahy 10/17/17: Ordered that proper procedures should be set forth at City Hall in regards to an emergency, or a threat of violence. There needs to be a clear plan of action.


Item 4: Leahy 10/17/17: Ordered that surveillance cameras be installed in the corridors of City Hall and the Annex.


Item 5: Leahy 10/17/17: Ordered that the emergency buttons in the city clerks office and Mayors office be immediately tested and fixed if necessary.

Item 6: Vacon: Order: that a hearing be set to review and reduce traffic cutting through the Sunset and Ashley neighborhood and what improvements could be made to reduce the safety hazards, such as changing traffic lights, making streets one-way, creating cul-de-sacs etc.
