Site Assignment Modification
Holyoke Board of Health

Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 111, Section 150A and 310 CMR 16.00, the Holyoke Board of Health will hold a public hearing on September 6, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. in the 4th Floor Conference Room at the Holyoke City Hall Annex, which is located at 20 Korean Veterans Plaza in Holyoke, MA, to consider the Application for a Modification to the Site Assignment for a solid waste facility.

Applicant: Casella of Holyoke, Inc., 700 Main Street, Holyoke, MA 01040
Proposed Disposal Tonnage: 1,250 tons/day limit
Description of Proposed Modification: 

Casella of Holyoke, Inc. has filed an application for modification of site assignment with the Holyoke Board of Health. The proposed modification of the site assignment includes a proposed increase to the daily permitted volume from 750 tons per day (tpd) to 1,250 t(pd).

Copies of the application for modification to site assignment may be reviewed at the offices of the Holyoke Board of Health at the Holyoke City Hall Annex, 20 Korean Veterans Plaza, Room 306, Holyoke, MA between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (phone 413-322-5595).

The Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Report in which it determines that the above described place is a suitable place for the proposed facility. Copies of the Department’s Report on Suitability and the site suitability criteria (310 CMR 16.00) are available for copying and examination along with the application.
