  1. City Council Orders Received

Ordered, that all department heads submit to the City Council their expected capital improvement needs for the next five years.  These reports should include the rationale for these projects, the estimated potential costs for each expenditure and the urgency of each, noting on a scale of 1 – 4 with 1 the most pressing need.

In City Council June 4, 2019.


Ordered, the Parks Department refills the dog waste bags at each park and that they monitor these weekly.

In City Council June 18, 2019


Ordered, that the City Council vote to approve an exemption from MGL Ch.268A, Sec. 20(b), the Conflict of Interest Law for Lhea Destromp, an employee of the Parks and Recreation Department., to work as a contracted employee for personal services with the School Department.

The two projects that Parks submitted for funding were accepted as Eligible Projects:  New Play Equipment and possibly improved pedestrian access at Mayer Field and New Play Equipment with improved access at Jones Point Park.  Applications are due for submission by November 15, 2019
