Item 1: Previous Meeting Minutes
Item 2: Special Permit application submitted by United Tractor Trailer School Inc. for the use of a temporary storage unit pursuant to Sec. 7.2.12 of the zoning ordinance at 50 Holyoke St. Red Lot Extension (Map 176 Block 00 Parcel 014)
Item 3: Zone change application submitted by Albert Babadzanov for property on 40 Lyman St. & adjacent lot (038–02–002.1 & -001.1) from current zone DR to proposed zone IG.
Item 4: McGee 5/15/18: Ordered that permanent speed bumps be installed on Bemis Rd.
Item 5: Holyoke City Council Street Vendor License Application for Mr. Charles Theocles for a food Cart
Item 6: Lisi 9/3/19: Order: that the 30mph signs on Bemis Road be removed and replaced with 25mph signs (if necessary to achieve the new citywide speed-limit of 25 mph)
Item 7: Vacon 10/1/19: Order: that “no parking” be established and signs installed on Lower Westfield Rd. from the Elks driveway to the reservoir gate.
Item 8: McGee 10/1/19: Order that a no parking sign be install near the driveway of 970 Hampden.
Item 9: Vacon 10/1/19: : request that our City Engineer evaluate the intersection at the city line at Rock Valley Road and Southampton Roads for the possibility of a 4 way stop sign or recommend other safety improvement options.
Item 10: Lisi 11/7/18: Ordered that the City Engineer research and provide the council with recommendations for how to change the ordinance related to downtown parking so that businesses and residential needs can be best met.
Item 11: Anderson-Burgos 10/1/19: Ordered that a handicap space be placed in front of 29 Belvidere Ave. for Jorge A. Burgos
Item 12: Murphy 10/1/19: Ordered that a handicap space be placed in front of 302 Chestnut St. Apt. 2A for Harain Aldarando
Item 13: Valentin 10/1/19: Ordered that a handicap sign be placed in front of 256 Waltnut St. for Miguel A. Rodriguez.
Item 14: Bartley 10/15/19: City Council amend the Whiting Street Reservoir Study Committee Ordinance to permit the at-large members of the committee to name up to two alternates.
Item 15: Bartley 9/3/19: Order that the City Engineer make a recommendation to the city council regarding the crosswalk from Elmwood Towers across South St. There is parking on either side of the crosswalk and pedestrians cannot see the flow of traffic from the sidewalk.
