Item 4: Bresnahan 2/21/17: Order: that the City Council consider amending section 18-35 with respect to the vacant building fee charge. In that we consider suspending the fee if owner has an open and valid building permit on said vacant property and work is actively taking place. Item 5: Jourdain 9/6/16: Ordered that ordinances related to ancillary structures be reviewed for possible revisions particularly as it relates to garages
Item 6: McGee 8/2/16: Order: that the Vendor permit ordinance be amended to specifically address the process for obtaining the permit, which department will issue such permits and how to track and maintain information on such vendors/supporters. Currently, a vendor was fingerprinted as part of the Vendor permit process and was sent to several departments to obtain the permit and no one had any idea of the permit (thus the need for a process). Therefore, the Vendor permit should be issued by DPW or Park & Rec with an approval form sign off by the Board of Health and Treasurers office (regarding taxes being current).
