1.   Approval of previous meeting minutes

   2.         Zone Change Petition from BG (General Business) to IP (Industrial
      Park) for the land in Holyoke, Hampden County, Massachusetts
      identified by the City’s Assessors as Map 116 Block 00, Parcel 001,
      also known as Whiting Farms Road 18-acre Parcel (Update from Planning

   3.   McGee T 2/4/14: Ordered that the City Council establish a zoning
      ordinance pertaining to medical marijuana  and its associated

      facilities protecting the public health and safety while remaining

      consistent under adequate state law based on the minority report from

      the Committee on Ordinance

   4.   Alexander 2/18/14: Order that the City adopt ordinance language
      consistent with the majority report the last time the Medical
      Marijuana issue was before the Council

5.  Soto 3/4/14: Order:  that Section 6.4.6, Signs in Business and
      Industrial Districts, be amended to include an expanded BH (Business
      Highway) district classification area allowing up to 200 square feet
      by right and up to 300 square feet with a Special Permit of the
      Planning Board ( for individual business uses having floor
      areas greater than 25,000 square feet.

   6.   Alexander 3/4/14: Ordered: That each Zone/Use pair in Zoning
      Ordinance Table 4.3 (Principal Uses) and related zoning legislation
      be considered for amendment to update the permit requirement where a
      use-by-right requires a permit, from Special Permit of the City
      Council to a Special Permit by the Planning Board, under all the
      conditions currently required for issuance of the same Permit by the
      City Council, for the all Zones and Uses where a City Council Permit
      is required, as follow:

   7.   Lisi Items NOT listed in Table 4.3 (from last meeting)

   8.   Whereas Zoning table 4.3 (Principal Uses is a recap of the
      underlying zoning code and may on occasion disagree with that
      underlying code: Ordered that the Ordinance Committee consider an
      explanatory amendment stating that in the event of a conflict, the
      underlying Ordinance shall apply.

 9.   Lisi 5/20/14 That the city council consider whether its more appropriate for the Planning Board or the City Council to issue any of the special permits that are not explicitly listed in Table 4.3 (Principal Uses)  of the Zoning Ordinances

 10.Jourdain 5/6/14: Order the Planning & Economic Development do the
      proposed survey for the 18 acre parcel owned by the G&E on Whiting
      Farms Rd as promised previously at Ordinance Committee so the City

       Council has the most quality information possible for future use of
      the property

   11.  Bartley: Ordered that a STOP sign be placed at the North intersection
      on Sullivan Rd. by the access road to Stevens Roofing (Sullivan Rd.
      Extension) and the Sullivan Rd. Guard House to ISO New England

12. Lisi 2/4/14: That in an effort to protect the Quabbin Reservoir from
      wildlife caused contamination, the City Council adopt an ordinance
      making it illegal to feed gulls in public places
