Item 1: Previous Meeting Minutes
Item 2: Street Vendor License Application for Manuel Contin for a Latin Food truck at 219 Elm St.
Item 3: Roman 1/16/18: Ordered that resident only parking be established on Ivy Avenue in Holyoke
Item 4: Bartley 11/21/17: Ordered that the DPW consider a 4-way stop sign at Washington Ave./Charles St. intersection
Item 5: Greaney Jr. 11/21/17: Order: that the DPW places a stop sign at the intersection of Judith St. and Sheehan Dr. There have been multiple instances of near collisions with cars turning from Judas St. onto Sheehan Dr. without stopping. This is a constituent request.
Item 6: Roman 12/9/17: Ordered that a handicap sign be placed in front of 545 So. Bridge St. for Tony Garcia
Item 7: Roman 12/19/17: Ordered that a handicap sign be placed in front of 330 Walnut St. for Irvin J. Rodriguez
Item 8: Sullivan 2/7/17: Order: That a complete review of Chapter 42 Fire Prevention and Protection be undertaken. Many sections are outdated or need to be reviewed and updated. Some sections are being ignored or circumvented. Article III. which deals with the actual composition, staffing, and benefits of the department Is vague at best and receives less attention than the sale of cigarette lighters as detailed in 42-19.
Item 9: Lopez 121917: ordered that 1) That the Ordinance Committee create an Ordinance requesting that any City Credit Card or Debit Card giving by the City must get approval from the City Council. Also, that the City Treasurer provide a report to the City Council with the following details:
A) Who has a Debit Card or a Credit Card in the City.
B) Treasurer and Auditor provide a report yo the City Council with each Credit Card or Debit Card for the last 5 years.
C) That all active Credit Cards and Debit Cards be de-activated immediately.
that we get a print out of all purchases/transactions that the card has been used for .
Item 10: Jourdain 8/1/17: Order: that an ordinance be created or current ordinances be amended to address the placement of memorials, dedications, naming rights, and related matters on public property in the City of Holyoke.
Item 11: Bartley: Order: that the name be changed of the portion of Coit St. that is west of Hillside Ave.
