Event takes place on August 03, 2016 at 5:00 PM until 8:30 PM
Waterfront Tavern, 920 Main Street, Holyoke MA

SPARK Holyoke, a program of the Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce Centennial Foundation, is proud to announce their third community based crowdfunding event, Holyoke Soup. Holyoke Soup is scheduled to take place on August 3rd at the Waterfront Tavern located at 920 Main Street, Holyoke from 5:00pm-8:30pm.

Holyoke Soup is a dinner celebrating and supporting creative projects in Holyoke. For $5, attendees receive soup, salad, bread while listening to presentations ranging from business ideas, art, urban agriculture, social justice, social entrepreneurs, education, technology, and much more. A new element has been added to this Holyoke Soup. Several local entrepreneurs will be showcasing their business beginning at 5:00pm. Each entrepreneurs showcasing their business has completed the SPARK Holyoke entrepreneurship program

Immediately following the SPARK Holyoke presentations the Holyoke Soup presentations will begin. Each presenter has four minutes to share their idea and answer four questions from the audience. This is a great opportunity to meet local entrepreneurs, have a bite to eat, network and vote on the project that would be most beneficial to the city of Holyoke. At the end of the night the ballots are counted and the winner goes home with all of the money raised to help fund their project. Winners come back to a future Soup dinner to report their project’s progress.

There is no admission charge to the event but a minimum of a $5 donation is requested. All proceeds go to the presenter who receives the most votes. Anyone interested in presenting an idea at Holyoke Soup may apply at: Please call Jona Ruiz-SPARK Holyoke at 413-534-3376, with any questions.
