iv)     Description:                  Clean-up and demolition of fire-damaged portion of the building complex as well as portions of the building complex that have deteriorated beyond the point of being salvageable. As proposed, this involves closure of 5 penstocks and 5 process wells. Proposed work includes 73,650 s.f. of work within the 100’ Buffer and 36,975 s.f. within the 50’ No-Disturb Zone.

iv)     Description:                  This Notice of Intent proposes the alteration of 19,000 square feet of Bordering Land Subject to Flooding, which entails loaming and seeding 8,200 s.f. of BLSF, adding 1,750 cubic feet of fill within BLSF and offsetting this additional fill with the removal of 5,125 cubic feet of fill for a proposed net reduction of 3,375 cubic feet of fill within BLSF for the purpose of constructing a 74’x74′ fenced compound and a 194’ monopole to replace a telecommunications tower that will be dismantled with the eventual closure of the Mt. Tom Coal Plant.

iv)     Description:                  Notice of Intent filed by the Holyoke Department of Public Works to remove built up sediment and debris along a stream between an existing headwall on Longfellow Road and inlet structure on the west side of I-91. The stream runs between property of #25 and #29 Longfellow Road (MBP 132-00-001). The proposed project includes slope excavation, stream bed restoration, brush removal, tree trimming and tree removal, slope stabilization utilizing stone riprap and erosion mat along stream banks, and site loam/seed.


d)      Request for Determination of Applicability

i)         Applicant:                    Holyoke Community College

iii)      Location:                      303 Homestead Avenue – Holyoke Community College

iv)     Description:                  Request to determine whether or not excavation of soil borings and test pits adjacent to the Holyoke Community College Campus Center and Tannery Brook are subject to the Holyoke Wetlands Protection Ordinance.
