Resident scholar, Matt Coletti, will share his research about the nature of the Japanese silk industry as embodied by artifacts from Wistariahurst Museum collections. Matt will introduce integral people, places and factories using photographs, business ledgers, transaction documents, and factory samples. Coletti’s research will enhance your understanding of the international silk trade, and the relationships established and developed by the Skinners. Admission is $7 general / $5 members, pay at door.
