• Call to Order and Welcome

SGM –  Greetings!

Is there anyone new today that did not come to our 1st meeting? 

• Review and Approval

SGM – Minutes from the meeting on 10/6/25.

Principal Report:

1 – Attendance Rate for 1-5 (92.6%)

     Attendance Rate for Pk – K – (92%)

2 – SIP review – Nov. 13

3 – SEN visit for SQR – Nov. 20

4 – Playground summer ‘26 – Sean Sheedy will join us for December mtg to present project

5 – Student Council (led by our school counselor Jessica Aharon will be working on their applications, presenting their speeches and voting before Thanksgiving.  There will be reps for Grade 4 and 5

6 – Music starts with Sonido

Parent concerns:

1. Sign-ups for SQR Parent Panel
2. Promoting PKinder to Full Day
3. Value added to start at 3 yrs old also easier for parents
4. Why ½ day on Wed (inconvenience)?
5. Why not Fridays (option)
6. Transportation should not be limited to K -12 (it should not be determined by distance)
7. Safety issues for WSB
8. Carpooling services (???)
9. Busses are not waiting. Busses don’t use their STOP light
10. Parents are not at bus stop and it is a concern for safety

Teacher Report:

Julie – homework packets,

engaging in play is also important, encouraging dialogue and reading

Family Report:

Ashley – stamps that J has homework but is not interested.  Student is speaking at home.

Katiria – students are interested in Greek.  They will work with others.

Student Report:

Jaylen is in PKinder.  Loves school and is happy!
