Hello Holyoke Community, please be advised that the Department of Public Works has issued a Reverse Winter Parking Ban. The current Parking Ban ends today Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 7:00 pm. The Reverse Parking Ban will begin on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 7:00 am. There will be no parking on the Even side of the street unless otherwise posted and No Parking on Cul-de-sacs. This parking ban will be in effect until otherwise notified. Please plan accordingly to avoid fines or towing. Thank you for helping us keep our streets safe!

Hola Comunidad de Holyoke, Por favor, tengan en cuenta que el Departamento de Obras Públicas ha emitido una Prohibición de Estacionamiento de Invierno. La prohibición de estacionamiento actual termina hoy, miércoles, 3 de diciembre de 2025 a las 7:00 pm. La Prohibición Invertida comenzará el jueves, 4 de diciembre de 2025 a las 7:00 am. No se permitirá estacionar en el lado PAR de la calle, a menos que se indique lo contrario, y no se permitirá estacionar en los callejones sin salida. Esta prohibición permanecerá en efecto hasta nuevo aviso.

 

City of Holyoke Fireworks

HOLYOKE —   The City of Holyoke will be hosting the annual 4th of July fireworks on Friday, June 24th (with a rain-date of June 25th). The event will take place on the grounds of Holyoke Community College, on 303 Homestead Avenue.

Vendors interested in taking part in the event should contact the Parks and Recreation Department for a permit application at 413-322-5620.

We encourage everyone to come early to enjoy the music, food from a variety of vendors as well as many children’s activities. The event begins at 6:00 PM, with the fireworks display scheduled to start at dusk.
