Holyoke’s Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade Text Size

On Monday, May 25, the City of Holyoke will celebrate Memorial Day with a ceremony and a parade organized by the United Veterans of Holyoke. Ceremonies will begin at 8 AM at the JFK Memorial on Appleton Street. The parade will begin at 9 AM in front of the War Memorial Building, and conclude in Veterans Park for further ceremonies .

Refreshments (coffee & pastries) will be provided at War Memorial Bldg.

The ceremony is our nation’s commemoration to the veterans and active duty personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our freedom alive.

The guest speaker will be Lieutenant Colonel John Paradis, USAG (retired), Deputy Superintendent, Holyoke Soldiers Home
