Paper City Act of Kindness Toy Drive Text Size

A group of local citizens has gotten together to hold the Act of Kindness Toy Drive.

Nelson Rivera, founder of Favela Clothing company, and Hanser Perez, owner of Slay Way Boards, reached out to Holyoke native Harry Melendez and owner of Hair Hunterz, Frank Cardona, with the idea of doing something special for kids and families in need in the greater Holyoke area. The four have since partnered with local businesses and organizations, placing toy collection boxes throughout the city and other locations. Toys will be given out to local kids at Fernandez Family Restaurant on December 22 from 5:30-7:30 PM.

The toy drive includes participation from Capri Pizza, Classic Magic Beauty Salon, Train for Life, Fernandez Family Restaurant, Hair Hunterz, Holyoke Community Charter School, and the City of Holyoke.
