Farmers’ Market EBT/Snap Benefits Text Size

Are you an EBT or SNAP user? If you are, come on down to the Holyoke Farmers’ Market and get more for your money! We have two ongoing programs that help you make the most of your EBT and SNAP benefits.

The first program will double up any amount that you use from your EBT card. For example, if you use $20.00 from your EBT card, we will give you $ 40.00 worth of tokens to spend on fresh bread, fruits, and vegetables. No matter how much money you want to spend from your EBT card, we will match that amount! This program was generously funded through grants by the Holyoke Health Center.

The benefits do not stop there. We also have another program that matches up to $5 for any minimum EBT transaction of $5.00. For instance, if you spend $5.00 at our market we will give you $10 worth of tokens. If you spend $10.00 at our market you will receive $15.00 worth of tokens to spend on fresh bread, fruits, and vegetables. This program is called SNAP & Save, which is funded by C.I.S.A (Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture), through grants and individual donations.

Don’t miss out on these benefits! The market will be open every Thursday from 10am-1:30pm through October 29th. Due to popular demand, the market has been moved back to High Street in front of City Hall. This market is not only a great place to save money on local produce and goods, but it is also a place to enjoy a good time with family and friends. Throughout the season you will see at the market, healthy cooking demonstrations, music, kid’s day, contests, and much more.
