There will be a regular meeting of the Committee on

Public Service

  

At City Hall in the Council Chamber, on Thursday September 24 at 6:30 PM

Agenda:

  

  • Appointment of Mr. Marco Crescentini of 66 Fairview Ave. to the Fairfield Ave. Historic District Commission

 

 

  • Appointment of Mr. Jerome R. Ezold of 16 Maple Crest Circle to the Historic Commission

 

 

  • Leahy 6/16/15: Ordered that the Mayor, acting Treasurer, Superintendent of Public Works and Parks and Rec. Director come before the Public Service Committee to discuss the delay in bonding and renovation to the Jones Point tennis courts

 

 

 

  • Leahy/Soto 8/4/15: Ordered that the Parks and Rec. Dept. assess the needs at every park and come into a meeting with the Public Service Committee to discuss each parks conditions and offer solutions

 

 

  • Lebron-Martinez 9/15/15: Ordered that the department responsible for the parking meter services come before the Public Service committee to explain why so many parking meters are out of service and the City and patrons who are parking on them are being ticketed.

 

 

  • Bresnahan 5/5/15: Ordered that whereas the City of Holyoke has received the recommendation for the second time from the MA Dept. of Revenue and to be in compliance with MA General Law chapter 41 Section 24 as well as City Ordinance 82-36, Order that the City Council appoint a third member to the Board of Assessors

 

 

  • Soto 12/16/14: Ordered that the Wellness Center room at the Holyoke Senior Center be dedicated in honor of Mayor Michael J. Sullivan
