Agenda:

Item 1: Meeting Minutes

Item 2: Order: that the City Council Ordinance Committee work with the Planning Department and City Clerk’s office to re-craft the application process for special permits for auto vehicle sales and vehicle repair. It has become clear that the current process does not serve the interest of business applicants, nor does it provide adequate information to relevant city departments involved in assessing proposed projects.

Item 3: Lisi 5/20/14: Order: That the city council consider whether its more appropriate for the Planning Board or the City Council to issue any of the special permits that are not explicitly listed in Table 4.3 (Principal Uses) of the Zoning Ordinances

Item 4: Alexander: Ordered: That each Zone/Use pair in Zoning Ordinance Table 4.3 (Principal Uses) and related zoning legislation be considered for amendment to update the permit requirement where a use-by-right requires a permit, from Special Permit of the City Council to a Special Permit by the Planning Board, under all the conditions currently required for issuance of the same Permit by the City Council, for the all Zones and Uses where a City Council Permit is required, as listed in the ordinance.

Item 5: 6/17/14 Lisi : Order that in accordance with M.G.L. Ch. 40C, Sec. 3, the City Council adopt an ordinance to establish the Polish Heritage Local Historic District, as recommended in the Final Report and shown on the map submitted by the Fairfield Ave Local Historic District Commission.
