Ordered, that That Section 2-86 of the Code of Ordinances, which was recently amended to establish a stipend for the Assistant City Clerk during a prolonged absence of the City Clerk, be further amended to be made effective retroactively to July 1, 2012.

Ordered, that “Ordered, that Section 78-141 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to require that private property owners clear snow and ice from any parking areas located on their property, in addition to the requirements to remove snow and ice from sidewalks.”

Ordered, that It is hereby ordered that the City Council amend, where necessary, the Holyoke Code of Ordinances, including Chapter 14 (Animals) and Chapter 1 §1-10 (Enforcement and Penalties), and enact any additional ordinances, if essential, in order to bring the Holyoke Code of Ordinances into compliance with the amended Massachusetts General Laws pursuant to Chapter 193, Senate Bill 2192, “An Act Further Regulating Animal Control” (“Act”). Furthermore, until such amendments are adopted, where the Holyoke Code of Ordinances conflicts with the current Massachusetts General Laws, as amended by the Act, the Animal Control Officer and all otherHolyokepersonnel and officers must follow the Massachusetts General Laws.

Please aware in advance that while this address has a driveway, the occupant in question does not have access or right to use the driveway and a handicap space is needed to enable him the least burden to get back and forth from his vehicle with his medical condition.
