There will be a regular meeting of the Committee on
Development and Government Relations

At City Hall in the Council Chamber, on Wed April 22 at 6:00PM

Agenda:

1. Acceptance of previous meeting minutes

2. Ordered: That the Council accept an easement from the Connecticut River Watershed Council that will grant the City of Holyoke the right to construct a pedestrian hiking trail on a parcel of land located off of Mountain Road identified within the City Assessor’s database as Map Block Parcel 194-00-004. Furthermore, order that the council authorize the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to accept said easement. Finally, this Easement shall be held under the custody and control of the Holyoke Conservation Commission under the authority granted it under MGL Chapter 40, Section 8C, to be managed for passive recreation only, under the rights and responsibilities of Article 97 of the Amendments to the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.”

3. Bartley: Ordered that the City Council vote to declare surplus and available for disposition, approximately 1,750 square feet of office space within the City Hall Annex basement, being portion of assessors MBP 013-07-001

4. Bartley: Ordered that the City Council authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Commonwealth’s Office of Commissioner of Probation for the use of approximately 1,700 square feet of office space located in the City Hall Annex basement being a potion Assessors MBP 013-07-001

5. Address of State Delegation Hon. State Senator Don Humason and Hon. State Rep Aaron Vega to address the DGR Committee on the budget, bonding issues, and issues affecting the City of Holyoke

6. Bartley: Ordered that the City Council vote to declare the following parcels of land “surplus property available for disposition” :
718-722 Dwight St., 736 Dwight St., 772 Dwight St. 764 Dwight St., 780 Dwight St., 123 Pine St., 800 Dwight St., Parcel 006-06-001

7. Bartley: Ordered that the City Council in accordance with the Holyoke Redevelopment Authority’s urban renewal plan “Connect. Construct. Create.” Vote to approve the transfer the of the properties listed below to the Holyoke Redevelopment Authority for consideration of $1.00
